Why do we feel lonely if we don’t share our space with others?

Do we need to feel acceptance or like we are doing the same things as our sisters and brothers?

What is independence if there is still something missing inside?

Why is it that you can appreciate being in a crowded room but still have the urge to hide?

Is it conversation that sates the hole in our hearts when we are feeling blue?

Or is it just common connection and knowing your feelings aren’t just possessed by you?

And if conversation isn’t needed to feel close to others near,

then why do we put so much emphasis on it?

Why can’t we just be happy to spend time with those that are here?

And if spending time is important do to the closeness that we feel having others around,

why is it that we decide to fight so much and create battles with those around?

Can’t we just be happy and connect with one another while we have the chance?

We are all fighting the same battle, so why create conflict instead enjoying this dance?
