Coming Down

I have danced with the devil,

I marched to my own drum.

I haven't been a king,

But knew the pauper and pawn are roles better than most

I have fallen to the bottom of my mountain

More than once and I'm sure,

I'm not done hitting that point.

Because I've fallen so many times

I regain my ascent quicker each time and take more significant leaps.

I shot for the moon when everyone else was too scared to jump,

Though I missed, I've never been more alive and thriving.

I was tossed to the wolves only to return with a tiger by its tail.

I've searched for the unsearchable,

I've done what's been said impossible.

Told I’d never be anything more than a waste of space,

When I tried to sell my soul, even Lucifer refused.

I became my own light and found my way back to greener pastures.

Telling me, I can't do it,

I did it thrice and took fucking pictures.

Told me it can't be done,

Says who bitch,

watch me.

The fight will continue to rage with you

Ether participate or be used.

Because I'm coming for everything,

I was told I could not have.

I'm becoming everything,
