I close my eyes to keep myself

From this dark world 0f sin

From all the hurt within

I close my ears to keep myself

Deaf to the noise out there

I close my mind to keep myself

Free from the lies they share

But I can see the beauty of

His creation, Divine

But I can feel his love agape

Eternally, its mine

But I can hear Him call my name

And speak to me in prayer

I understand His master plan

His truth and word to share

Sometimes the truth needs to be found

You must open the door

And close the ones that led you to
