Clean Up the Swamp

The American people need a giant mop

To Clean up the mess at the biggest swamp

Congress and Senate are both corrupt

We need our people to erupt

Erupt not in violence but in votes

As our population begins to note

Both parties aren’t working in our interests

Instead in the interests of corporations and influencers on Pinterest

On Social media corporations ads fair

As the people are sold on Laissez Faire

Capitalism is hurting us all

Because it's not in its purest form not at all

Corporations get huge tax breaks too

Wage Income earners are taxed heavily they should sue.

Capitalism is not truly fair now

It’s designed to help the rich, wow!

Rich get richer

Poor get poorer

How is that right?

We keep picking the same politicians in our sight.

We need new politicians not the same

We need to get good people to enter the game.

Politics is hard and is a sport

Steer new candidates into port

The American people need change

As their hearts sing freedom and home on the range

We need answers now

As we shoot across the bow

Democracy is being affected

As citizens become dejected

We need to clean up the swamp

So Americans bring that great mop.
