I’m a chameleon
One in a million
Which only means there are a thousand others like me
You may not like me
My skin is rough
My meat is tough
And once you enter
I can taste bitter
Unless you only eat my withers
Watch as I slither and slink
Through the ink of the forest
Hear all the other animals clink and clamor
Oh, what a chorus
Teeth gnashing everywhere without a care
They try to appear fearless
Meanwhile, I just fade into the background
A jade colored formless shape when viewed from the air or the ground
Astounding
Surrounded by foes on all sides
You’d think there was nowhere to hide
But I dodge all predators
With my camouflage

Why, I just can't see you writing this, Atomic. (Sorry, it's the best I could do. Nicely composed. You don't actually do a great job at hiding your talents.)
Oooo, this was so deep! Loved it!
Very good poem, it flows effortlessly! I loved it!
It's very descriptive .
