Pieces Of Me

intoxicated with the notion

whiskey whispered what I thought

inside, the fire burned like poison

begging for another shot

your kiss created an explosion

the air I swallowed moist and hot

the very crust of my destruction

quickening my resting spot

surviving my first introduction

addicted, no regard to cost

witnessing my soul's abduction

your pull called to me low and soft

a smash and grab crime of seduction

any salvation long since lost

survival in bouts of convulsion

another in your buckle, notched

a brick wall awaits me at this junction

the stained regrets, remain unwashed

a morsel for your vast consumption

the will undone, concedes exhaust
