Summer On Its Breath
Follies Of Spring
Dramatic as a page torn from Macbeth
winter's chill has come to bid us all adieu
Springtime exhales with summer on its breath
bringing the warmest springlike skies of blue, in June
Goosebumps cross the linen lines of untouched skin
raising the questions to the point of no return
Shadows bear the marks of where the frost has been
fanning the flames desire built for us to yearn
What lovely colors don the wild flowers
dressed in lace and shades to tease the longing eye
Freely we surrender helpless to their power
as pure imagination takes us soaring in the sky

This is beautiful. I love the flow.
I find writing about nature so refreshing. Your poem brings out the wonderful changes in the feelings and sights of nature's beauty.
Lush and warming...those are the words I have to describe this, Kelli! Well done!
