A family is shopping the Town Center Mall
In the lot, someone damaged their car
There’s a note with an address and number to call
“Just ring me, I’m not very far”
A woman goes into a place down the street
It’s a nursing home filled with our vets
The residents find her a wonderful treat
And they love spending time with her pets
An elderly person was standing in line
A little bit short on their cash
A teenager told them, “The balance is mine”
Without even batting a lash
Some rough looking dudes shooting hoops in a lot
Are reported for being too loud
The cops arrive shortly to see what they’ve got
Then challenged the dudes for the crowd
Today were two homeless men cleaning a park
To them they were paying their way
The park had two ladies who jogged after dark
And it still had some children at play

Nice!! Congratulations on TS🥳too.
Congrats on Top Story!🥳🥳🥳
Unfortunately, this is from PNN, the Pollyanna News Network. Train wrecks sell, kindness is boring. But it is the boring who make life worth living. Everything else is just breaking news.
We need more of this!
Oh how I wish the daily news. Well done and congrats on the TS.
congratulations!!!
congratulations on TS. How I wish most of our news was reported like this. In our town, we have a "do the right thing" program for kids ages 9 - whatever. When a child does something good for someone else or the community, their name is submitted to the police department. Each month, each child is given a trophy and certificate for "well done" and the top five that have done the most, is given a gift card to a local store (and the store varies). If that's not enough, all of the participants have their names and photos placed in our newspaper to recognize their achievements.
Why am I already repeating lines from this in my head?
Great combinations of many emotions.
Congrats on Ts!!
hahah. This made me laugh, sad and angry. Lovely bit of sarcastic as if-ness to this. Congrats on Top Story. Subscribing to you, sir!
If only....great job
That would be great news to hear, wouldn't it?
I really liked this; it had a bit of nostalgia and simplicity of daily life as well.
