For years I have let the opinions of others dictate my worth.For years I have let the attention and affection of men dictate my happiness.For years I have felt less than.For years I have felt ugly and overlooked.For years I have wanted nothing more than to be lovedwhile thinking I don't deserve it.
That stops now.I am better than this.I am beautifulI am boundless.I am worth more than the pseudo love of a manand I do not need someone else to make me happy.
I am my own happiness, my own joyand no one will ever take that from me.Some day someone worth MY time will come alongand maybe I will let them inand maybe I will share with them all the things that make me a woman.

RESILIENCE
The date was 16th April, 2024. I will never forget that day for as long as I live. We woke up early in the morning and drove to the Police Station at around 6 am to pick up two officers for police escort. We drove past my village after picking up few more escorts and we journeyed onward to a remote school that we needed to visit. The school is about 3 hours away from the town but depending on the weather and road condition, it could take more hours than that.

We'z Walking on a Path Ruled By Numbers
This road has felt endless, yet limited; every step tracked. Inching away along this path, I feel trapped. Confined. Left to this narrow passage that may one day amount to something greater. Time is not a concept. Only distance. From start to finish, I laugh and cry and attempt to convince myself that this is worth it. I cannot stray. I must keep going. Every step etched, is a step taken, is measured as more than before. I cannot even recall how I got here. Maybe I don’t even really exist. Just another tick marking off a perceived presence. Of what though? I am just another line drawn. Nothing more, nothing less.
