Boring Neighborhood Drama

Distracted by the voices rising louder, down the street

I step outside, to get a better view

Several of my neighbors are out and soon our eyes meet

They want to know what’s happening down there, too

Rarely does anything exciting happen here, at all

A year ago some lady lost her top

Casually she drove by, in a mustang with white walls

The top fell down, as she came to a stop

I know what you are thinking, but it was the top on her mustang

Obviously, we helped her, get it up

Now, get your mind out of the gutter, geesh!
