Book of Blood

An Ode to Friends Lost

By Atomic HistorianPublished 3 years ago Updated 3 years ago 1 min read

This is our book of blood

We wish it was written in love

We wish it was written in ink

But it’s written in lives lost

To the drink

They went

Lives missed

Lives well spent

Missed always

No longer do they roam our hallways

But they live on in our minds

And our hearts

From us

Never shall they part

Here with us always

Until we part this prison of mortality

To see our friends again
