Take In, Receive. Don't Self-Deceive.

The beauty it is to understand

The beauty it is to comprehend

The beauty it is to think clearly

The beauty it is to let it be

Instead of always trying to project ourselves

Force ourselves

Launch ourselves

Our ideas

Our Feelings

Our meanings

Our virtues

What if

we took a moment?

And decided to try something new

If all things come will pass.

If all things come will due.

If all things come here.

Then to prepare for all things

Why don't we hear?

Talk Less, Smile More

When you employ that strategy

When you employ that tactic

You implore your brain to explore

The world around you

It's so obvious that there's so much more

Waiting

For You to acknowledge more than Your peers

If You were to be quiet and open Your ears

In a world of sound

In a world that's loud

In a world that's bold

Sometimes we have to hold

Silence, for its weight is truly golden

The truth can be made clear in silence

Common Sense is beholden

To be be observed in a place

To take up the space

Like a flower that blooms

Unlike the elephant in a room

Silence is the key, a vital piece missing

Sweethearts and Stupids, your silence needs kissing

The doors to knowledge

The Doors to opportunity

Will always be open

As long as You don't hold silence in impunity

By hearing others to talk

You allow their words to walk

Other beings are expressive

With their bodies and their words

There's language that's more than suggestive

By allowing Yourself to be quiet and hear others speak

You see their vocabulary journey, through its valleys and peaks.

Yet, there is one thing more

Have You ever had Yourself to explore?

Your own mind is a labyrinth, with layered striations

You should hear yourself speak,

for all your positive and negative connotations

Hear yourself think

Before making a declaration

Sift, filter, sort

Through your thoughts

Steeling your mind from unnecessary provocations

A mind turned off with a mouth that speaks is rather weak

A mind engaged with a tongue that won't betray holds power

It is not meek

Only those that act low

Will refuse to remain blind and deaf

In a chamber that echoes

Think more, observe more with just your eyes and ears

Life's a sensational journey with sensory movements

Be intact with your senses for reality to be made clear
