Beneath the Routine

It’s a remainder

In the morning light, we rise to the day,

And begin the routines that keep us at bay.

The alarm clock's chime, the coffee's steam,

The start of another day's routine.

We dress for work, or for school,

And follow the patterns we've learned as a rule.

But in these motions, there's more than meets the eye,

The hidden meanings that we can't deny.

The rush of the crowd, the bustle and noise,

The daily grind that we can't avoid.

But beneath the surface, there's more to be found,

A deeper meaning that's always around.

The love that we share, the kindness we give,

The small acts of grace that make life worth to live.

The friendships we cherish, the moments we share,

The joy that we find in simply being there.

So let us not forget, amidst the hustle and bustle,

The hidden meanings that lie beneath the rustle.

For life is not just the mundane routine,

But a journey of love, and hope, and dreams.
