Dried straws and grass

I was scattered

Whoever gathered me

They gathered me

To burn.

#UrduCouplet

This is a translation of an Urdu couplet. Urdu couplets are part of daily life. On suitable occasions, the people of the subcontinent use these couplets to give an understanding of their point of view and different situations. This tradition is not limited to ordinary places but it is well rooted in every layer of subcontinental society. I have presented the translation of some Urdu couplets before. I hope this one is also well received by you. Keep me enriched with your valuable feedback. Thanks.
