Bedroom Eyes

Love's Electric Current

As I stepped inside the room,

White noise, and party vroom,

Long legs in blue jeans,

Tight butt and muscle sheen,

A serious face and eyes so green

were busy watching me.

Our eyes caught and held,

locked in bliss eternal.

A message passed.

An invitation sent.

Nothing unasked.

Nothing fraternal.

He stepped my way

And I stepped his.

Three steps each way.

He took my hand,

And current flowed

Up my arms and down my toes.

Still his eyes spoke to mine,

Tummy fluttered,

Words unuttered

One moment was all it took

For bedroom eyes

To whisper sex divine.

My first articles were published around 1962/3. It's a long time ago. Since then, I have written most things. I'm once more changing direction - back to fiction.
