The leaves are a funny thing
In the spring they’re nothing
Starting so small to turn so big
They’re so full of life they are
But as the time comes we get bored
The leaves are no longer magical
They’ve lost their meaning when they begin to change
Red Yellow Orange Brown
We fall in love with these new colors
We fall in love with the face of death
The leaves dying to preserve the tree
Such a selfless sacrifice
Death is beautiful, why we find it oh so beautiful
To die as a gift, it’s like none other
Why would you do it, why would you follow through
Giving up your life for me
Am I really worth that price
You left the father to die for me
What a gift that is
Is it just me or does anything mean anything?
Is everything just nothing
Does this life have a purpose?
Or are we just making it through
Why is it that everything’s gonna be alright
Is just a cover-up
A way to make you feel good in the moment
It means nothing to me
You just let it pass your lips as a meaningless expression
What is life, what is it’s meaning?
Falling to the ground losing its beauty
Death looks fun to play with
It starts so beautifully but ends so dull
My life is worth so much more than everything
Everything means something, I just can’t figure it out
God gave me this life so I should treasure it
It’s a gift that I much accept
It may get hard and not be perfect
But fight through and when God calls you, death will be beautiful
It is a passageway from this earth of misery to heaven that’s unexplainable
