(Intro)

You've always come to me for advice.

On how you're feeling and about your life.

Well I've got something new to say.

So listen to what I'm spelling your way.

I know you don't like to make waves.

(Chorus)

All the battleships surround you from every direction

But, the overcast has been clouding your vision.

And when the storm passed.

You were still hiding your feelings.

You don't see things for how they are.

Oh battleships are ready and armed.

(Verse 1)

You're calling all the shots.

You don't realize that you're the boss.

Making the wrong people fall.

You washed up on the shore.

Thought you'd be, under the sea.

Dancing on the treasure floor.

underneath...

(Chorus)

All the battleships that surround you from every direction

But, the overcast has been clouding your vision.

And when the storm passed.

You were still hiding your feelings.

You don't see things for how they are.

Oh battleships are ready and armed.

Do you think it's easy?

But you just can't say goodbye runaway or RIP.

No matter which road you go.

There will always be a mistake.

And you'll end up making Waves.

(Chorus)

All the battleships surround you from every direction

Oh, the overcast has been clouding your vision.

And when the storm passed.

You were still hiding your feelings.

You don't see things for how they are.

Oh battleships are ready and armed.

(Outro)

Your battleships are ready and armed.

But,

you don't see things for how they really are.
