(Intro)

We all get scared.

We all get angry.

We all get sad.

But it won't change anything.

We all get scared.

We all try to fix our wrongs.

But it's hard when no one's getting along.

(Chorus)

But I say no

No no no no.

Not this time.

You won't run my life this time.

It's my turn to say what is right.

(Verse 1)

I won't sit pretty, and just listen to everything you have to tell me.

Everything you believe.

Because everything you believe is a lie.

And here we are.

Look at what you've caused.

Guess you shouldn't have been playing in a glass house throwing rocks.

(Chorus)

But I say no

No no no no.

Not this time.

You won't run my life this time.

It's my turn to say what is right.

(Verse 2)

You want me to sit here.

Like the good little girl I am.

While I watch you tear apart.

Everything I care about in anyway you possibly can.

I say no no no no no.

I'll stand up and fight for what I believe is right.

I won't watch you try to get everyone on your side. Anymore, anymore, anymore.

(Chorus)

But I say no.

No no no no.

Not this time.

You won't run my life this time.

It's my turn to say what is right.

(Verse 3)

You think I'll listen.

No rebellion out of this one.

You think you own me.

Every bone in my body belongs to you.

You think I'll be obedient, and consistent to your every demand.

(Chorus)

But I say no

No no no no.

Not this time.

You won't run my life this time.

It's my turn to say what is right.

(Outro)

We all get scared.

We all thirst for revenge.

An eye for an eye that's always how it ends.

But I say no.

No no no no.
