Autumn's Awe

As autumn arrives with its amber hues,

And the air turns crisp with a cooler breeze,

Apples ripen on branches high,

Awaiting harvest time with patient ease.

Awe-inspiring are the changing leaves,

Adorning trees with a rainbow of colors bright,

A symphony of nature, a breathtaking scene,

As if the world has been painted in sheer delight.

All around, the world transforms,

As summer fades into a distant memory,

Animals prepare for winter's chill,

As they gather food in their frenzy.

Aroma of pumpkin spice fills the air,

As we indulge in seasonal delights,

A warm cup of cider or a pumpkin pie,

To savor in the longer autumn nights.

Abundance is the season's gift,

As harvest brings forth nature's bounty,

An abundance of fruits, vegetables and grains,

To nourish us all, a true testament of plenty.

Amidst the beauty of this time of year,

We feel the transition from warm to cold,

A reminder of life's constant change,

And the need to embrace the new as we grow old.

As we celebrate the beauty of fall,

We also remember those who have passed,

A time of remembrance, a time of reflection,

As we honor their memories, that forever last.

With blankets, sweaters and crackling fires,
