A poem about depression

Shadows and the blurriness of the sky

Sitting alone skidding in your thoughts you sigh

You think your all alone all of the time

Not seeing others beside you your not realising your slowly dying

All these clouds covering the empty spaces you left over

People use intoxication but your trying to stay sober

It's all a mind play in your head

You need peace not a doctor or med

People see you as someone stressed or depressed

You just need a break from fighting a little rest

Rainy days and black skies are all you see

On the sunniest of days you see thunder so you sit and weep

Everyday is the same you feel like a prisoner trapped in a cage

Watching things repeating again it's not déjà vu

It makes you rage

With anger inside

You know it's a mistake only once that you've lied

You know your not right

But you can't lose the fight

A battle in your brain

Your stuck your framed

You can't get or run away no more

Light over darkness is the real door your sore to the core only better if you find a cure......
