Baby what a big surprise you halved your hair’s length

My chest ached for a bit until I saw your eyes

Unlike Samson, you did not lose your soulful strength

As it lies in your stems stretching into my skies

I compete for complete closeness with your shadow

Winning when the Sun shines over the other side

I hope you kept your downcast hair for my tableau

Where I appear spine-chilling as if I had died

I love every part of you as I always spoke

Showing you as well whenever I am closer

Methinks I had an infinitesimal stroke

Luckily I can become an astute poser

What is so important about some dismissed hair

It fits my memory’s angles now all like air
