And we thought it would go on forever

Love is always a slice of eternity

The sky so blue, life so sweet, peace and quiet, always grinning.

sky so blue, life so sweet, peace and quiet, always grinning.

e sky so blue, life so sweet, peace and quiet, always grinning.

he sky so blue, life so sweet, peace and quiet, always grinning.

A silly old grin really but it reflected the profound happiness

Of that moment in time. No worries, just smiles

And laughter and kisses.

The sky was autumn blue then winter came

And still, we are grinning, so sweet, so blue.

Life goes on forever. This moment will never stop.

The waterfall of delight, the monsoon of pleasure,

Will flow for us till the end of time.

We were frozen in our happiness.

We became lifeless, swimming in our plenty.

We forgot to breathe. We left life behind us,

Places didn’t exist anymore,

People had disappeared from our horizon.

It was just us, in our bubble.

The air became toxic. The water stagnating,

And still we grinned but the smile had turned stilted, didn’t reach the eyes,

A silent had come down on us, heavy with words not said,

Realities not faced; horrors not spoken about.

The sky had turned grey, in the summer heat.

Spring never was and there will be no harvest,

We saw the clouds but looked away.

They destroyed our grins,

Turned our tears of laughter into tears of despair.

And then we realized.

Time passed us by and flew away with us but from us.

And the peace and quiet lies o the frozen ground

of our dreams and hopes.

Letting time be so we can go about in our little life,

Grow and spread in our small parameters.

The world is our oyster

Time is our limit.

In all end, there is a beginning

The frozen grin can again reach the eyes.

Let’s not burden ourselves with absolutes.

Fluidity in accepting life as it comes, smile and grin

When the time is right to smile and grin

Then cry and scream with despair.
