Aloofness

breaking through the clouds

of conformity

I, resilient as a fogbow-

My courage draws attention

Like a arrow through a single

red delicious apple-

Bridging

the gap between

social constructs,

AND

destructive criticism

I mean, constructive

AND

my own expectations

NOT on trend

with fitting in,

no longer seen as a necessity—

Born to stand out,

taking pride in

who I am,

independently fascinating,

dash of

expressive prerogative;

wild as orange bangle tiger!

Your approval,

causes inner upheavals

Your disapproval

Petty

Impermissible

My curiosity

spontaneously awakens-

MY third-eyes’ awareness

like a bouquet of yellow daffodils,

twinned like a bow rarest of all-

Self-reflective,

as water droplets...

My tears

reflect joy

self-acceptance

of all my quirkiness...

My kindness

dependable-

nurturing as green aloe

to a sunburn

Aloofness

breaking through the clouds of conformity

I, resilient as a fogbow

My soul

PASSIONATE

as a holographic firebow

My trustworthiness inspires trust

striking as a blue coral snake

Throw all the shade

at my pride,

Swish, free throw

behind, the line

My loyalty, unbounded

creating calm in my inner circle

At times,

a royal pain in the ass—

Indigo as skyline at midnight

Like halo,

surrounding myself with glory

No need to compete

with ORDINARY

My pep band,

plays DIFFERENTLY

My imagination encourages creativity

“Tubular” as violet coral—

Aloofness

breaking through the clouds of conformity

I will, shine like Alexanders

unlit band;

My quietness

gives off

a sense of composure

pink as a clit

LEGIT

Lines cross,

childish gamesmanship

like double Dutch-

Hand over fist

No matter,

how many ropes

I jump

I can’t down

an iced blue vodka shot,

of typical

Grow a pair of ovaries

and

get over yourself!
