Addiction

Drugs, loss, defeat

By Heather HeckermanPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

Meth, heroin, crack cocaine, one person's love is another person's pain. Doesn't matter if you shoot snort or smoke, all that matters are promises you broke.

Addiction is strong and oh so real, we hide behind drugs to forget how we feel. Don't think about another person you don't have time, now you're addiction's personal mime.

Do its bidding at all cost, don't think twice about the lives you've lost. Just focus on that high, let the drugs get you by.

Don't worry about your soul, you gave away your control. Don't worry about your family and friends, addiction is all you need in the end.
