A writer was born

Growing up I always tried to fit in . I realized real quick that the world could be cruel. So at ten years old I realized I have to be authentic to myself and forget what the world thought of me. I was told by someone staring at me, “I see pain behind that smile you can’t fool me.” “You have to find a healthy way to channel and release your pain.”I looked at this individual, then smiled as I walked away. I went home, grabbed my pen. At that very moment a writer was born. I begin to write stories, poems and fell in love with this art form.
