Things that go bump in the night happen in the house where shadows move.

Kid was angry, and his heart was racing. He found his shape in game worlds.

The love of parents, a light

Feared one terrible night.

Rules put in place to stop the game, scream out in a huge rage.

When it was quiet at midnight, he had dark thoughts going through his mind.

He came up with a plan in the middle of the night while holding the controller, which made his fingers white.

He did have a lot of thoughts as hatred's voice got stronger.

Cold steel knife, his favorite tool. He was the fool in this dangerous game.

He crept through the dim hallway like a shadow with bad ideas.

The way they breathed while they slept was in sync. They didn't know that someone was going to be killed.

But the mind stirred, and for a moment there were sweet memories and an ashy love.

He had trouble seeing, and tears came to his eyes. He felt pain and fear all over his body.

When he dropped the knife, it made a loud noise. Shame wrapped around him like a cloud.

When people in the house woke up and saw their son, they screamed out in fear.

He begged, "Please forgive me," but his voice broke. He was stuck in a bad dream.

In that dark place, a warm hug from a parent brought people back together.

When the first sign of dawn hit, it was like a dream.

That terrible night put a family's love to the test, but it stood strong.
