A Dance with Shadows

When Shadows Speak, Who Will Listen?

The ancient mansion groans with secrets unspoken, Shadows creep with chilly fingers.

I enter; a cold clutches my spine; You are not alone; these walls confide.

Steps repeat in the barren hall, Ghostly whispers respond to my call.

Cobwebs shudder in the candle's light; We watch you fight the night.

A whisper brushes over my ear; could you feel the mounting terror?

Eyes shining crimson, I see a person Welcome to where the lost are led.

Your soul is ripped in this darkness; my heart beats more forcefully than the storm.

I want to go, but the door won't move; We are many and we judge.

Trapped in a dream, reality disappears, in our world shadows fall.

The vacuum swallows screams; You are toyed in the dark.

The house absorbs my last tear, with us, always you now lay.
