A Sea of Hearts

Soul shore

How can I tell

where heart belongs,

where does wall end

to let emotions

take butterflies

in hope embrace?

***

Will I find peace

on other side of garden,

can thoughts still linger

in your heart,

am I still there,

or just a dream

gone with the dew

hope melted

before time

could touch soul memory,

add fragrance

to what it felt like to hold hands

as fate bloomed

too fast,

and yet too slow

to still a sea of hearts,

to learn

that happiness can sing

so loudly in the dark.

***

Harmony of soul voices,

yours

calling to my own

in words

only I heard,

you can have flowers in your hair

bloom in a smile,

love will return

the second you let doubts

go on dusk wings

take this one chance to wish

upon twilight

soul shore.
