Folks are hungry for truth... May I tell you a secret?
I have an increasingly-extinct superpower... I'm allergic to lies...
The bigger the lie, the sicker I get... Even white ones make me itch...
Sadly, many have embraced deceit and candy-coated lies by accepting a poisonous slice of the Devil's pie... Mmmm... what a scrumptious soul tie!
They hastily and heartily gobble it all down....Willingly taking directions from a selfish clown...
But there's money to be made... no time to live, right... They're more focused on living it up with all of their might...
Eventually, Karma's mama, named: 'Miss You Reap What You Sow', will inevitably knock on every 'Little Bad Wolf's' door...
And then Integrity, Righteousness, and Good will rule once more.

I promise her. I'd do anything for her. She's my mom. Even as Lanie and Deanna are flying home, Mom is scrappy fighting dying. She lays too still in that too-big bed with all the toasty white hospital blankets, in the south tower, at the broad end of a long slow-turning corner that delivers me again to her private room with the view she can't see through, with the beeping that tells us nothing new, and all these ice chips she can't swallow, and a flood of well-intentioned nurses who cannot do a damned thing all the same.

Love this! It made me think of my brother, a sweet soul who's also highly allergic to lies. If we could all have a little more intolerance for fibs the world would be a better place!
