A Morning Routine

A Poem

A spot in the forehead,

A dab of concealer.

A painful lesson,

Always to remember.

Sweeps of blusher,

Across the cheeks.

A tinge of pink,

How very rosy.

A swipe of gloss,

A touch of red.

Plump and alive,

The perky lips.

Spritz of perfume,

The mist gathers,

Nectarine blossom and honey,

Permeates the air.

All over again,

Mondays to Fridays.

My first poem and I hope you enjoy it.

Today is a Monday and the morning routine starts all over again for me. How about you? Do you have a routine similar to mine too?
