A Mask of Frozen Tears

A Poem For A Love; Unrequited.

To: N.

A mask of frozen tears melts in your hand

Tears slipping through, as if made up of sand.

The moment arrives, the stars have aligned...

Alongside my ghost, whom often defines

All I have been, some you had seen...

Apart from my heart

Which beats no redeem.

Fear not the depths of the water below,

There is only you whom I wish to bestow,

All of my heart,

Right from the start...

For I too am ready,

To be swept undertow.
