A letter to you

Dear Readers

Poem

Dear readers,

Sometimes I wonder, why I always find myself writing. Again with nothing in mind, but a blank paper facing me. As if it stares at me, curious to know what I would taint it with. Will it be my failures or my happiness? Perhaps another breakdown and regrets? Will I curse it or pour my complaints?

Time like these is when I wish that my pen could be magical dish. Maybe life doesn’t need to be sad always. Even when what we wear is crown of thorns. Because at hand, is my power, something to write down, what I want for me.

And I do not want pain. I do not wish self-blame; I do not desire to regret always; I do not look forward to chanting myself to sleep. There are nightmares, as there are dreams. But there is also a pen, and a curious blank page to be filled, with thoughts that haunts. And imaginations that heals. You just need to take a pick. And be your magic.

Maybe I am just in love with the Ink.

Yours Sincerely

Adlyne Faith Agenga.
