A House Warming

poem

By Mark GrahamPublished 3 years ago 1 min read
House (grandniece drawing)

What does this mean to you?

Moving out,

Moving in,

organizing,

gathering memories,

good and bad.

Looking around; remembering

bad times and good times,

Wondering what will and could happen-

will the past repeat or

will the present meld with the future,

Thinking-

Listen closely-

New memories yet to be made.

Old memories to cherish or to let go.

Look aroung the old to

make sure nothing left behind-

find a place for everything in the new.

Smiles and tears abound,

but wait

what will happen

who knows

questions

answers

getting to know the ins and outs.

gathering of friends and family-

Good luck!
