A Distant Whisper in the Wind
Love passed on
Witnessing your soothing smile entrances my young heart
Hopeful eyes forever yearn to consume your treasured love
Years slowly pass while profound emotions remain unspoken
Yet the burning blaze strengthens with each blissful memory
As my optimistic soul desires your admiration and enthusiasm
My lips do not speak the beautiful words enclosed in my heart
Everlasting love remaining a bashful mystery simply from you
Strolling serenely along naturally green scenery my mind wanders
Suddenly a gentle whiff of a distant rose slowly reaches my senses
Reminisces of a forgotten love engulf
Thoughts blocking uncertainty
Reaching the surface no longer
Can I restrain these captivating dreams
Yearning to finally grow the wings it desires
To effortlessly break free
Fading scars of rejection still evident
In a soul left neglected and scorned
Yet the trusting time has arrived
All I believe in delightfully take flight
Dream boy let my sweetest of fantasies and my strongest of hopes
Tenderly travel with the wandering wind
Fleeing each fear and wrong
To finally reach it’s faithful destination
Which is guarded by indecision
Rapture through the darkness leaving rays
Of loving light in it’s shadows
Lastly implant in your inquisitive ears
The passions eager to be exposed
No longer will my love for you overcome me they have found a home
Merely a vague memory of love now left as a distant whisper in the wind

Future Glimpse
Ripley sat at her desk scanning the newspaper help wanted ads desperately trying to find a handsomely paying job hell even a decently paying one at this point. Her bank account was sitting at $10.35, and her bill due dates were slowly closing in on her in a suffocating manner. In frustration of not being able to find anything she threw the paper to the floor, booted up her computer and headed straight for Craigslist in hopes of finding something that would help her generate some money before she was completely broke and homeless. After searching through around twenty pages she found an ad that caught her attention. 'Get Paid $20,000 For A Glimpse Of Your Future!' Ripley was truly curious but also completely skeptical nothing that good was ever true least not in an honest manner anyways. Quickly she looked up the address on her phone's GPS saving it to her future places, she got up from her desk quickly dressed in a t-shirt, jeans, hoodie and sneakers before grabbing her wallet, keys and phone to head to the location of the over promising job. It was a stormy day which of course made her wish that she had a car, but when your as low on money as she is your car is your own two feet.
