Comes in many different hues
It can bring us joy and devotion
Or leave us with nothing but the blues
There's the love that's pure and true
The kind that fills us up with light
It's the love that guides us through
The darkest of days and the longest of nights
But love can also bring us pain
The kind that tears us apart
It can leave us feeling insane
And break our fragile hearts
There's the love that's kind and gentle
The kind that lifts us up when we're down
It's the love that's truly essential
When life tries to knock us to the ground
But love can also be cruel
The kind that leaves us feeling lost
It can make us feel like a fool
And leave us paying a heavy cost
There's the love that's sweet and soft
The kind that makes our hearts skip a beat
It's the love that lets us take off
And soar to new heights on our feet
But love can also be hard
The kind that takes everything we've got
It can leave us feeling scarred
And wondering if it was worth the shot
Love, a complex emotion

It's the choices we make every day
It's the joy and the pain that we take

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the sprawling rose garden, Amelia found herself wandering along the winding paths, entranced by the delicate fragrance of the blooms. At six feet tall, she often felt out of place, towering over most people she encountered. However, amidst the beauty of the garden, she felt a sense of serenity and belonging.

Like most dog moms, the best part of my day is the time spent with my dogs. I have an 8 year old Pittie mix named Indie and a two year old Frenchie mix named Otis. Indie is my soul dog and the love of my life. She has inspired me to become a photographer, a business owner, and a creator, among other things. She is the smartest and most loyal creature who selflessly makes sure that I’m happy above all else. Most of the time, she knows how I’m feeling before I do. When we’re together, she’s my shadow–never more than a few inches from me at all times.
