100 FATHOMS DEEP

Christmas cheer for

me and my family

wasn't easy this year.

Spending time together

exchanging small gifts

and living in this pandemic

without fear.

Making sure we take care of

ourselves and each other.

Inner Minds and thoughts

are what we're beginning

to discover.

My wife still missing her Son

and myself still missing my mother.

Her children still living are still

missing their brother.

Sometimes grieving can cause

labored breathing and possibly

lead to being smothered.

Luckily the strength of Unity

is the reason we have recovered.

Christmas Cheer during

Covid this year has been

a monumental task.

But, in the light of the Christmas Star,

is where we choose to bask.
