The Time I Danced With the Black Swan
It was 2013. I was alone in Ottawa, Canada for Thanksgiving as I was not able to travel home due to work. That morning, I awoke feeling alone and restless despite the sun's rays stroking my face; staying inside my cold apartment was not an option.

Grey Reef Sharks Norfolk Island
I captured this image in Norfolk Island in January 2021. I went there for a short holiday purposedly for sharks diving, but also to get away from my routine in Eden, NSW. I am highly passionated about sharks and have been making some short footage and capturing images while I scuba dive and snorkeling, although not in professional way, some messages are delivered in my footage with intention of encouraging people to have more respects towards sharks by stop consuming or fishing. I believe by showing people how beautiful sharks are, it could positively change people mind-set that have been brainwashed by social media that telling sharks are a monster. At the same time, people also need to know that sharks are a territorial wild animal. If we want to dive with them, we have to dive respectfully in safe ways, by keeping distance, eyes to eyes to sharks and never dive in murky water when we can't see them. It's highly likely that sharks could attack people as a mistaken identity. Despite, sharks are intelligence and awesome animals, we also need them for healthy oceans.

Finishing University
My last week. This week is my last week at University. I have been studying photography for about two years now doing the course part time, really taking my time to soak up as much as I can throughout the course. As I write this I am sitting at my desk working on my final ever assessment, well trying to anyway.

Iron Butterfly
The monarch butterfly is in trouble. Their numbers have declined 90% over the past 20 years due to a combination of land development and the widespread use of pesticides and weedkillers, which has decimated the population of milkweed – the monarch’s only food source.

Ducks in a row
I've always loved to take pictures, and still remember my first camera, which was a Kodak Instamatic 110 film camera (the kind that took flash cubes, yeah I know, I'm dating myself), and am sad to report, I no longer have it, not that it matters due to the fact it's obsolete, and not only is 110 film impossible to find, but nobody really processes film anymore anyway, so it's a moot point.

Onaqui Wild Horses
I live in Utah where there are several herds of wild horses that are managed by the Bureau of Land Management. Over the years I have seen many photos of these beautiful animals. I finally decided it was time that I took the trip myself. I loaded up my camera filled my car with fuel and made sure my tires were aired up (the road out to this area is rough and has a reputation for causing flat tires), told my family where I was going and to come find me if I didn’t get home by 8:00 PM.
