Stop Pulling!
I have a 30kg pitbull that is a big headed bag of muscle that has been pulling the leash like a maniac for 2 years now. His pulling never really bothered me because I got used to it in time.
Foreign PawsPublished 7 years ago in PetlifeTop 5 Misconceptions About Snakes
Intro Long, forked tongue. Weird, emotionless eyes on top of flat, angular head. Sharp fangs in a mouth wide enough to swallow something (or someone) whole. Quick and alien movements. If you’re like many, these images conjure up a single, menacing word in your mind: snake. The creature that tricked Adam and Eve into eating the accursed apple and committing the first sin; inspiration for dozens of mythological creatures, and possibly more horror-based monster movies. The very thing that lurks in the shadows in the woods at night, waiting to sink its venom-dipped fangs straight into your bloodstream.
Felecia BurgettPublished 7 years ago in PetlifeThe Scariest Moments
The scariest moments in our lives can be unexpected and come within a second. Personally, the scariest moment in my life was a couple of months ago when I was in a pen with a rescue horse named Porter. Porter is a ten-year-old Percheron and is one of the sweetest horses you could ever find. He was used as a school horse a couple of years ago, and my job was to get him trained to be ridden again. Now, I'm a pretty experienced rider, but I'd never ridden a horse that needed to be trained again. I spent weeks getting to know him and doing lots of ground work with him.
13 the Black Cat
First thing first, explaining the unconventional name. You see, I turned 13 on Friday the thirteenth. I went for a walk later that day, lo and behold, I saw two black cats sitting on a porch. I always told myself that was a sign that I was meant to have a black cat. Good thing I am not superstitious right? Superstition is fascinating though, even when one does not believe in it. Due to this fascination, I always wanted a black cat and I wanted to name the cat 13. I mean who could be scared of this cute little face?
Jade Damboise RailPublished 7 years ago in PetlifePitbulls & Dog Bites
As soon as you hear the would pit bull most people immediately jump on the bandwagon about how they are aggressive dogs, they bite and so on, but so does the innocent little Jack Russell or Husky. So what the deal with the double sided effect of dogs?
Julian R HillisPublished 7 years ago in PetlifeTrash Pandas!
With raccoons, the first thing that comes to mind is a fat animal that knocks your trash over at night. Cute but also wild.

In the above picture is mine and my partner's dog, Hope. Doesn't she look happy? Would you think by looking at her that she was abused her whole life until the rescue saved her? I wouldn't either.
Kerry-Louise TaylorPublished 7 years ago in PetlifeBailey
So let me start out with I LOVE ANIMALS, and actually have a ton... even exotics that when I tell people they're like, "Shut up you do not own one of those." Then I have to pull the old phone out to prove it but anyways. Animals, they do no wrong... except Bailey. Don't get me wrong, I love Bay. He is one of my male cats, the oldest one. He is so loving, really a great cuddler and always has to be by me which is great until he's under my feet or when he's meowing non-stop because I won't make eye contact with him or you know do something crazy like sleep in. I have three other cats (and just lost one) and Bailey is the only one that when I adopted him he was declawed. I don't personally declaw my cats... I hate it... but anywho Bailey gets picked on by all my cats because he is so nosey and the others don't like him all up in their faces 24/7 but that doesn't stop Bailey!
Maranda CarenePublished 7 years ago in PetlifeMost Loving Cat Breeds
Dogs are man's best friend, and just have a major reputation for being super affectionate. Cats? Well, not so much. Though it's not always warranted or fair, cats have a reputation for being mean or just aloof to humans.
Ossiana TepfenhartPublished 7 years ago in PetlifeLife With Kiya
How this spunky little Dachshund came to me might not seem like a heartwarming story, or might even be considered boring, but it's a sweet story nonetheless. At least, that's what I think. Princess Kiya (pronounced like the car) was born on November 19, 2016, in Cheyenne, Wyoming to a litter of four. She is the second smallest of her litter. Both of her parents are pure-breed dachshunds, though only her father has papers. My boyfriend and I adopted her on January 21, 2017. It was a Saturday night, and she'd just turned nine weeks old that very day; I remember that much.

All sports have different things that make them difficult. That being said, most sports don't have "equipment" with a brain of their own... Horses are amazing animals but like us, they all have their quirks.
Tilikum: A Killer Whale with a Killer Attitude
Tilikum was a very well-known captive orca, he really lived up to his killer whale title in his lifetime in captivity. He was born in 1981, and when he was just two years old, he was captured in Iceland. A year later he was moved to a Sealand park in British Columbia. Tilikum died in early 2017, aged just 36 which is under half a killer whale's typical lifespan in the wild. However, this is pretty normal for captive whales as the average age of death for orcas at SeaWorld is just 13.
