"Womb in Word"

Conceive Christ Consciousness

There’s no denying that God’s Word has been used to hurt, even though it’s meant to heal. Throughout history, scripture has been used to justify sinful acts; from the Crusades to modern-day hate crimes and abuse.

But how can this be?

Well, it helps to know that in Christian mysticism, ‘God’s Word’ doesn’t only refer to scripture… in the greatest sense, it signifies the First Divine Word that God spoke at the beginning of creation.

“And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.” (Genesis 1:3)

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1)

This primordial, lingual force (also known as the “Logos”) is embodied in Jesus Christ. Thus it could be said that Christ is the “avatar” or “divine incarnation” of the Logos.

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14)

The paradoxical concept of the Logos as both unmanifest and incarnate is tricky, but not impossible, to conceive.

In fact, it is most easily conceived through scripture; the form of God’s Word which is accessible, legible, sensible, and thus can be easily applied to our lives.

Consequently, it is also the only manifestation of the Word which can be misinterpreted and even perverted to suit selfish human desires– because the One Word has been metaphysically translated into many words.

This is why we must be very careful with how we speak, think, and listen. In the same way that God’s Word dictates reality, the words we use dictate our perspective of this reality.

“For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” (Matthew 12:37)

And as it has also been said by both Christian and Hermetic mystics: “All things are thoughts in the Mind of God.”

Could it be that God gave us words as a means by which we could come to know His Word? Is clear and compassionate communication the first step to Divine Communion?

“Jesus saith unto him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.’” (John 14:6)

Our human words are dense echoes of God’s Pure Word. Our ability to communicate and conceptualize is what sets us apart from all other creatures on Earth. It’s what allows us to find connections, develop wisdom and understanding, and ultimately return to God’s Image which we were created in. This is reconciliation of the paradox of being human. This is Christ Consciousness.

Thus, our speech, thoughts, and perception are procreative instruments that allow us to co-create with our Holy Creator. When these facets of consciousness become corrupt, so do our creations. Not by fault of God (because He is faultless) but by fault of our fallen, and therefore sinful, state. But when we speak, think, and perceive through the Mind of Christ (as it is taught and embodied by Jesus), our personal desires are lifted higher and purified by God’s Word, which holds the greatest intentions for all.

Where do we find our innermost desires so that they may be reconciled to God’s? In the softest, deepest, juiciest part of consciousness– the womb. No matter our gender, we all have within our conscience a rich cavern of crystalline concepts, beliefs, hopes and dreams. This is our womb, also known as our personal matrix.

In its purest form, it was designed by God to be a receptive, fertile place wherein we could receive (and therefore conceive) His Word, so as to be partners in creation.

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.” (Philippians 2:13)

And so we are called to co-create with God; not by praying only for what we want, but by praising and meditating earnestly on the Logos– the very Word of God which empowers us to think, speak, and perceive; to be like Him in Spirit and Truth. Through clear and compassionate communication, acts of service and loving kindness, and unshakeable humility, one not only becomes a better person; they start to proactively contribute to the collective reality in beautiful, even miraculous ways. This is Christ Consciousness.

Of course, that’s easier said than done. Even within the very first church of Christ, there was disunity… and wars have been waged for ages over scripture’s meaning. It’s a great and nearly impossible task to harmonize one voice with another; let alone many voices with the One!

But as Jesus said: “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26) Just because something is challenging doesn’t mean it’s impossible, especially when we listen for God’s Word in every area of life.

So if you resonate; if you want to reconcile with the Holy Word; if the womb of your conscience is blooming with hope or curiosity; then welcome! You’ve come to the right place.

“Womb in Word” is a video and blog series that aims to help spiritual seekers heal their relationship with the Logos and reconcile the paradox of being human. This Christian mystic “Passion project” consists of meditations designed to support the conception of God’s Word within and around us. Relax into reconciliation and conceive Christ Consciousness.

Thank you for being here. May God bless you with a glimpse of His Face, which is to say, Divine Grace. Amen, amen, amen. 🙏🤍🕊️
