Depression is more than an emotion.

  • It's constant negative thoughts.
  • It's suicidal intention and attempts.
  • It's reckless behavior.
  • It is being mentally exhausted.
  • It is insomnia and sleeping too much to vanish away what makes you feel depressed.
  • It's feeling stuck and overwhelmed.
  • It's having an inside voice of shame, having emotional difficulty to think straight.
  • It is over-eating or eating-less.
  • It's the depth of despair.
  • It's restless legs, exhaustion, tense shoulders, and sensory overload.
  • It's feeling lonely but not wanting company.
  • It's feeling hopeless about the future and imagine the worst scenarios.
  • It's sadness, lack of concentration, lack of confidence, self-harm, and self-love.
  • It's the feeling of loss, regret, and empty feelings.
  • It's lashing out at others.
  • It's blaming yourself for everything that goes wrong.

Depression is so many things, but you are better than this.

You have been through so much, I'm so sorry for what happened to you, and,I'm insanely proud of you, I really am.

You deserve nothing but happiness, comfort and peace.

I admire you so much, push yourself back up, you are an inspiration to me and to so many, you are a light in this dark world and I need you, I need you to make this world a better place.

This world needs your essence, empathy, kindness, and personality, you are so valuable, you are gold, one in a million, and, you are still here for a reason.

You'll be okay, everything will be okay, I promise, breathe and try again tomorrow, life will always get heavy, but you are stronger, pull yourself together, don't hurt yourself and don't give up, you can do this, fight this!

Mental Health is also physical.

Talking about Depression matters.

Reaching out for help is brave.

Stop suffering in silence.

You matter.

I love you so much, you make me want to be a better person, thank you for not giving up and for being here still.

with love
