A daily guide to becoming

Transformation…

Trust yourself to change the things you are currently struggling to change today, for yesterday has come and gone. Today is a bran new day, embrace and welcome it with an open and grateful heart.

Remember you are worthy of change… Change doesn’t have to be scary. When change is meant for you, it can be a release from what is old and familiar - to a new and exciting way of life.

Allow the universe to guide you to a new beginning in your life. Like the caterpillar who is born to crawl into a cocoon, which is not a resting state, it is a state of deep transformation, from which one becomes the butterfly, whom spreads its wings and flies away, sharing its colors with the world around it.

Never doubt what appears to be the impossible. All things are possible. When you allow yourself to dream, dream big and don’t hold back. Think about all the invented things we use in our everyday world, non of which would be available to use if the inventor gave up his work before the finished product was complete.

See the possibilities in the silver-lining of your day to day set backs. Perhaps the red light on your way to work, is the universe asking you to slow down and enjoy the music on your way to work today. If you're standing on the side of the road with your car on fire; celebrate... you are getting a new car. I call it, the silver-lining mindset.

Forgive the people in your life who are or who have caused you hardships in your life. Can you stretch out you hand and hold a tiny pebble in it forever. Your arm will become too heavy to hold the tiny pebble forever. Let it go, forgive, and the weight will be lifted.

Organize your life and declutter it, so you can give space to your private life to breathe and feel good when you are home. Practice being in the moment when you are cleaning, cooking or simply doing gardening, with the music playing in the background.

Review all daily habits and routines. Change the ones which no longer serve you and add ones which will utilize your free time more wisely. For instance; pack you lunch the night before work, so it’s ready to go in the morning. Make a list of habits you wish to change and work on changing them one at a time, until you are where you want to be.

Meditate 5 minutes in the am and 10 min before bed. Set your daily intentions for the following day at night before bed, and in the morning meditate on 5 new things a day for which you are grateful in your life. Take 10 deep breaths before you get out of you car at work, and say, “The universe desires to bless me at work today. I am eternally grateful for the multitudes of wonderful blessing which come my way day in and day out."

Acknowledge the things in your personality you feel are weaknesses and give yourself grace in compassion for these apparent shortcomings. When you acknowledge and accept them, they no longer become a burden to you - give your inner child a hug and say, “I love myself just the way I am.” Now you will have the power to make changes and adjustments in your life, in a loving and compassionate way.

Take the time to focus on the things that bring joy and happiness into your life; instead of turning on the tv and listening to the news at night when you come home, put on some of your favorite music and sing a little or even dance a bit while making dinner.

Invest in your health; plan meals and research good, fast, easy, healthy meals. Eat a large salad for dinner with berries and nuts instead of adding meat to your evening meal. Drink plenty of water throughout your day and drink tea before bed, to help you sleep deeper.

Over-indulgence in any one thing can be a detriment to ones overall health and well being. For instance, if you are spending to much time thinking about all the things that could go wrong or have gone wrong in your day to day existence; I challenge you today to counter every negative thought with the words, cancel, cancel and replace it with a more positive thought.

Never look back into your past traumas and failures and let it hold you back from becoming the best version of yourself. You are becoming better and better each and every day, so long as you are not standing still and remaining in the past. Each and every morning say, "I am living the best version of myself today; I am placing my best foot forward for tomorrow, I will be even better than today."

One way to see your life through crystal clear glasses when dealing with troublesome peoples in your daily work life. Say to yourself, "I love ya all so very, very much, even when you are jealous and gossiping about me behind my back, because I have no control over what others say and think about me. I can only forgive you and say, Namaste in peace and prosperity, I bless you."
