“Holy crap is this heavy!”

Life can seem like a roller coaster sometimes. One moment, everything is going great and we may be feeling full of happiness and joy, and the next moment, everything can come crashing down and we may feel overwhelmed with sadness and despair. The ups and downs of life can be difficult to deal with, but there are steps and strategies we can take to help cope with them.

First, it is important to be mindful of our thought patterns and recognize when we may be stuck in a negative thought loop. Acknowledging this and making an effort to reframe our thoughts in a more positive way can be beneficial in lifting our mood and outlook on life. Secondly, it is important to practice self-care to help cope with the struggles of life. Taking time to do activities that make us feel relaxed, such as reading a book, exercising, or listening to music can be helpful in reducing stress and improving our emotional wellbeing.

Additionally, talking to someone you can trust like a friend or a family member, or even a therapist, can help us navigate the ups and downs of life. Talking to others can be beneficial in providing a fresh and outside perspective, and can help us express our emotions in a productive and meaningful way.

All in all, life can be full of unexpected surprises and challenging moments, but by understanding what helps us cope, we can find ways to make it through the tough times no matter what.
