ALLENGED: THE SONG THAT CHANGED MY LIFE
When it comes to the New year no matter the tradition around the world we always come up with some new resolution of how our character is going to turn out like or what our body will look like by Summer, or if we're going to even reach our pinnacle.
Thinking about the future is frightening. Why? Because we have no idea what we will encounter. What will be of our lives in the next 2,5,10, 20 years? The only correct answer is that you will have to wait to find out! This uncertainty becomes particularly pressing for people of certain ages. Right now, the age group that I am able to humbly speak on behalf of is the 20-30 demographic. I am 22 years old and with this age I have started to notice certain differences. As a starting point, things change. They really do. Friendships become scarce. The unconditional love you once received from your family seems to become less available and in turn less comforting. The perception you once had about yourself and others can change dramatically from day to day, week to week, year to year. No matter how long it takes for things to change, one thing is certain, and that is that they will not remain the same as long as we keep living.
I love to write. Since I was five years old and knew how to formulate full-blown sentences, albeit elementary, I have kept a journal - although back then I referred to it as a diary. As I matured and "diary" carried an adolescent connotation, I started to "journal."
There are plenty of different rituals and beliefs about how to spend your time during a full moon. This is the phase of the moon where you bring in the energy of the Universe to celebrate your achievements for the goals you set for yourself during the new moon, leading all the way up to this time.
You may need to change some aspects of your way of thinking, as well as make some changes in your appearance, but in the end, you'll feel much better about yourself.
It’s likely you’ve encountered limiting beliefs whether you’re aware of them or not. In fact, it’s nearly impossible to grow up in today’s world without experiencing some form of conditioning which inevitably morphs into limiting beliefs. Yes, you can blame social media, sensational news stories and advertising for this conditioning. But it’s far more likely that you first encountered conditioning and limiting beliefs somewhere else. As a kid growing up.
There's so much I want to accomplish. I am working super hard on my business - Style Your Life while working full time. I am also trying to get my health back in order. The problem is I keep self-sabotaging myself.
We live in a world currently ruled by image. If you are not following the crowd or looking like the latest doll, you feel that you are not accepted by the world.
What are you leaving behind in 2019?
