10 Quotes To Inspire You To Make Positive Changes
One aspect to the definition of change is to make something different, to alter, or modify. For most people, when it comes to life in general, change generates fear and apprehension. Although many of us, more so the younger generation, are receptive to any form of technology that makes our life more convenient and efficient, many of us prefer just to keep to what we know. It works for us, we have knowledge about it, we feel in control, and we feel no need to change. Basically, whatever offers us comfort, security, and reassurance, we stick to. Overall, we are a very routined species, who each form our own pattern of survival and structure, and if that pattern is anyway disturbed or impacted, or has the potential to be disturbed or impacted, we become concerned and uncomfortable. What if it impacts us financially? How will it inconvenience us? What if we make a fool of ourselves? What if this change leads to failure? What if we won't know what we are doing? Will other people judge us? These are some of the questions that swirl through our head with any potential change in life. What we fail to remember though is that change is progress, and change is growth. We simply can't remain stagnant, and avoid change, because the world is constantly evolving around us. If we decline change, we will simply get left behind. Not all changes are necessarily good, and work out to how we envision, however change is always necessary. Sometimes we need to make several changes, in order to create the outcome we desire. One thing is for sure, we need to continually be making changes, so we too can evolve, learn, mature, and develop. Change enhances the probability for success. I mentioned one aspect to the definition of change at the start, but it's funny that so many of us fear change, when another aspect of the definition states that change is a "new or refreshingly different experience". Why would we fear something refreshing and different? It's all because change drags us out of our comfort zone, but what we don't realize is that when we step out of our comfort zone, and embrace something new and different, that adjustment soon becomes comfortable to us after a while anyway. What we initially feared, regularly ends up being something that enhances our life, that makes our life more efficient, that improves our life, and perhaps makes our life more flexible and convenient. Change is actually exciting, it just totally depends on which mindset you choose to take into it. The simple rule in life is, if you're not happy with certain aspects, situations, or circumstances, in your life, then make some changes. Whether it be you're unhappy in your career, unhappy in your relationship, unhappy with your financial situation, unhappy with your family life, unhappy with your appearance, whatever it may be, if you're unhappy, miserable, or depressed, then do something about it! Things don't just automatically turn around for the better for us, we need to instigate change, through making some decisions, and taking action. These decisions and actions may scare us, they may come with risk, and they may feel uncomfortable, but they are imperative to transforming our situation and circumstances. The question you need to ask yourself is, "is what I'm doing right now bringing me success, happiness, satisfaction, and fulfillment"? If the answer is no, to any aspect of your life, then there's your passport awaiting for you to make changes. Don't fear change, embrace it! Change leads to betterment! Here are 10 quotes to encourage you to identify the various areas in your life that are making you unhappy and depressed, and to inspire you then to make changes, through bold decisions and actions.

10 Quotes To Encourage You To Pursue Your Passion
It's pretty normal for us to start working as early as our mid teens, just to get some exposure to job experience, and to start earning some money for ourselves. At that age, we have to find a happy medium in juggling our study, our work, and time with our friends. The sad part is, starting work at the age of say 15, it leaves us with 50 years of work in front of us. That's a mighty long time. Even for those who start work after their studies have finished, that's still at least 45 years of work ahead them also. Considering that work will then consume around a third of the time we are alive throughout those 45 to 50 years, and another third would be allocated to sleeping, we are only left with one third of that time to do some of the things in life we enjoy, such as spending time with family and friends, traveling, watching television, and engaging in our hobbies. Let's be honest, much of that latter third is spent doing necessities also, such as cooking food, showering, eating, and cleaning the house. Where are we supposed to find the happiness and satisfaction we so desperately desire in life? How can we expect a handful of hours each day to deliver us this happiness and satisfaction? We only need to look around and see how many people are dissatisfied and unhappy about their lifestyle, because they have no flexibility or freedom to live a life they desire. People are tired, stressed, and demotivated, all because they are overworked, and worst of all, it's all caused by a job they don't even enjoy. The desperation for survival, comfort, and security, has most people settling for any old job, just so they have an income stream. Sure, we all need money to pay our bills, maintain a roof over our head, and provide food on the table, but why do so many of us settle for earning an income doing something we hate, rather than doing something we enjoy? If we are going to spend 45 to 50 years of our life working to earn a living, surely it makes sense to do something that makes us happy, and something we are truly passionate about? The problem is, we become too comfortable in our job, we become totally reliant on that paycheck, and we are fearful of making changes and taking risks to pursue something that we would enjoy, that we end up just settling for the job we have. We fail to invest time into seeking and devising options to turn our passion into our profession, we fail to believe in ourselves that we can create success from it, and we are concerned how others would perceive us if we did something different. For the sake of our happiness, satisfaction, and potential for success in the future, it's an absolute must that we find work we are truly passionate about. In discovering that passion, we become more motivated, we become inspired, we work more efficiently, and we naturally work at a higher standard. That third of life that make us miserable and unhappy, working a job we don't even enjoy, can be completely transformed. We start finding satisfaction, happiness, and fulfillment in the work we do, and even better, we get paid for doing work we enjoy. It's about getting off our butt, getting clear on what we are passionate about in life, and then manufacturing that into a business, or applying for that job we have always dreamed of. Being passionate about our work is what drives us to become successful, it helps us find our purpose, and it contributes to us finding happiness and satisfaction in life. Here are 10 quotes to help encourage you to gain clarity on what you are passionate about in life, and inspire you to turn that passion into a career.

10 Quotes To Help Repel The Thoughts Of Being Judged By Others
It's sad to think that so many people live their lives, making decisions, and executing actions, based on the need to try and impress others, all in a bid to avoid being judged and criticized. People feel this compulsive need to want to fit in with the crowd, to be accepted, respected, embraced, and liked by others. They simply can't handle the thought of not being liked by others, or being talked about negatively behind their back. In trying to avoid this, people will go out of their way to please others, even if that means altering their beliefs, characteristics, and personality. Basically, the need to be liked by others, and to be popular, is more important to them than being their true self, and living a life by their own design. What these people seem to either forget, or purposely choose not to acknowledge, is that there will always be people who will be nice to their face, yet be judging them, and gossiping about them, behind their back. Sadly, it's a common trait amongst the overwhelming majority of the human race. When we make decisions, and execute actions, in the best interest of our happiness, our goals, and our future, there will always be those who will judge and criticize us. Why? Because they may not be decisions or actions that those other people would be brave enough to do themselves, or they may not class them as normality to what society does. Some may express this criticism and judgement to our face, others may hide behind their mobile phone screen and type their thoughts, and then there are those who will basically bitch about us to others. If our decisions and actions don't please them, or if it perhaps inconveniences them, they become irritable and judgmental. Many people will say they have our best interest and welfare at heart, including our friends and loved ones, but their actions often suggest otherwise, because the only person who truly has our best interest and welfare at heart, is ourselves. Anyone who genuinely cares about our welfare and well-being would support us and encourage us to strive for greatness, not be opposing us. We know within our heart and mind, what decisions we need to make, and what actions we need to take, in order to create a future we desire, plus achieve our goals, and we need to remain committed to this. We can't allow the judgement and criticism of others to influence us against pursuing our goals, and creating a successful and fulfilling future for ourselves. We need to remove this need to fit in with others, and this desperation to be liked, because it's actually hurting our future. Our focus should be on our goals, our happiness, and what we desire for our future, not on how others are perceiving us. We have an obligation to help others in life, not to be pleasing them. There will be many people who won't like our decisions and actions, and as I said, these will include those closest to us, but they have their own life to live, just as we do ours. We shouldn't be living our life that is designed by others, and not by ourselves. It takes real courage and strength to face up to others when they discourage and oppose our decisions and actions, but we must have that resolve to repel those thoughts within our head, that they will stop liking or loving us, or that they are gossiping about us negatively to others. It will only end up highlighting just how much these people do truly love us, and have our best interest at heart. The funny thing is, once you achieve success, they will be the first ones to say they supported you throughout the journey, and want to celebrate in that success with you. Here are 10 quotes to help you maintain focus on the goals you want to achieve, and the future you want to create, whilst having the strength and courage to repel the judgement and criticism of others along the journey.

10 Quotes To Build Courage To Step Out Of Your Comfort Zone
We all want life to just run smoothly, without the need to concern ourselves over potential threats to our method of survival, or any impact to our routine, and what we know. We don't want no disruptions, or change, nor to encounter anything that involves risk to the way we live. We like the feeling of being in control, being knowledgeable, and biggest of all, we like having the feeling of having complete comfort and security. We will seek to avoid placing ourselves in situations and circumstances which make us feel awkward, or we feel a lack of control, and lacking in experience. That's it in a nutshell, we just prefer to live our life in the way we are accustomed to, are familiar with, and what makes us feel comfortable. Comfort is living in a state of physical ease, without constraint or pain, of course we all want that. Who wants to be constrained or feel pain, after all? The unfortunate thing about this though, is by living in such a way, we are denying ourselves some of the most wonderful blessings that life has to offer, such as success, happiness, and prosperity. It's a proven fact that true happiness, success, and personal growth, can only be achieved when we are willing to step out of our comfort zone. When we aren't challenging ourselves, but instead, we continue to remain stagnant in life, we become stale. Life constantly encourages us to learn, grow, develop, and mature, and what we often find is by continually resisting to step out of our comfort zone, life begins to start making things uncomfortable for us anyway. We get that subtle nudge that we need to be making changes, we need to be working harder, and we need to be taking some risks, in order to be continually enhancing our life. The longer we resist doing so, the more that life makes us feel more frustrated, agitated, and uncomfortable. We were all born to succeed and achieve greatness, but if we turn our back on working hard, pushing ourselves, and striving to achieve our goals, life will force those challenges upon us. Whilst we believe we are finding comfort and security in the way we live currently, in our routine, and in doing what we know, by refusing to act, take risks, and make changes, we are inviting discomfort into our lives anyway. Life is about progress and growth, not settling for mediocrity. How is there any happiness and success in living a life where we trot off to a job, for five days of the week, earning barely enough to adequately survive on, consuming most of our time in doing so, whilst we sacrifice such important aspects of life, such as family time, sleep, our happiness, our mental health, and our goals, in order to accommodate such a lifestyle? We get comfortable with it, because at least we are paying our bills, yet there is an opportunity to step out of that normality, and perhaps start a business, or try a different line of work, which has the potential for far greater rewards. Most of us don't do so however, because there is risk involved, and it will take us out of our comfort zone, and as a result, we deny ourselves of a beneficial opportunity for learning, growth, development, and worst of all, success. Here are 10 quotes to encourage us to be brave, and have the courage to take risks, make changes, and step out of our comfort zone, so we can grow and succeed in life.

10 Quotes To Inspire You For The New Year Ahead
Firstly, a massive Happy New Year to you and your family! We farewell what has been an extremely difficult and challenging year, with adversities at an extent we have never faced before. COVID-19 has completely changed the complexion of the way we live, and there is still much to be done with containing the virus before we are able to return to the sort of normality we are used to. Be it on a global scale, a national level, or even just on a personal level, adversity and challenge is always going to be part and parcel of life though. In this knowledge, it then comes back to how we deal with it. We can choose to curl up in a ball, shut the door on life, and hide ourselves away from the world, in the false hope that things will get better by themselves. We can wave our hands in the air, play the victim of life, whinge, complain, and again, live in the false hope that things will get better by themselves. But what we should be doing though is embracing the adversities and challenges that life throws at us, be seeking the opportunity of what life is trying to teach us, and be proactive in using the potential within us to be creating a solution, as it's by doing so that we learn, grow, develop, and mature, in life. That experience helps strengthen us, and can ultimately help lead us to success. Despite whatever challenges and adversities lie ahead for us in 2021, with the right attitude, behavior, and mindset, this year can become one of great success, satisfaction, fulfillment, happiness, and prosperity for us. The new year always brings us great opportunity to identify what we desire for our future, what goals we want to achieve, and how we wish to live our life. It can be a time where we set resolutions, but for the vast majority of people, such resolutions don't last any longer than February, making them fruitless. We need to gain a clear understanding of exactly what our main goal in life is, to achieve. It needs to be a goal that drives us, and that drive will only ever be present if we have an internal emotional attachment to what we want to achieve. It needs to be a goal that we would do anything for, in order to achieve it, one that we will never allow ourselves to give up on. It needs to be a goal that pushes us to continually persevere and remain resilient, even despite all the failures, setbacks, rejections, and challenges, we face along the journey. Once we can get clear on such a goal, then we need to start doing the hard work. We need to be making changes, taking risks, making sacrifices, and applying ourselves to the actions that are working towards that goal. There are a few years of hard work and sacrifice ahead of us, but in the long run, it will well and truly be worth it. The thing is, now is the time to start that journey! Now is the time to set that goal, and start working on creating a future that is blessed with success, happiness, satisfaction, fulfillment, and prosperity, for ourselves. Despite all that's happened in years gone by, today becomes a totally fresh start. You deserve all the rewards and blessings that life can bring, but only you can prove you are indeed worthy of that, and again, that is all dependent on your attitude, behavior, and mindset. 2021 can become the year that you positively transformed your life! Here are 10 quotes to inspire you to get motivated for the new year, and to start taking action on building a future that is filled with success, happiness, and prosperity.

Don't Let Your Dreams Be Just Dreams!!
Don't give up!! There's always a way!! It's always been my dream to make money doing what I love, writing stories. But I always thought it was just that, a dream. I was always told that there was no way that I could find good pay for doing that, that I was just wasting my time. But I never believed it.

10 Quotes To Remind Us Of The Importance Of Serving Others
I find it astounding how so many people live their life with the belief that the pathway to happiness, greatness, satisfaction, wealth, and success, comes via selfishness, greed, and by undermining others. That's right, a vast number of people worldwide actually believe that caring only about themselves, ignoring those less fortunate than them, refusing to help or give to others, and treating others with complete disrespect and ill consideration, is the sure way to achieving an amazing and rewarding life. It's no coincidence that the overwhelming majority who believe this, quite often find themselves living their life in complete dissatisfaction, unhappiness, bitterness, anger, and failure. They find themselves constantly chasing money and happiness, which continually eludes them. Their decisions and actions are based solely on what benefits them, as they turn their backs on others who may be in need of support, encouragement, or help. The worst part to this, is quite often it's even their own friends, family, and neighbors, to whom they decline to assist. Money is the biggest culprit, as people crave and worship it, always seeking to possess it rather than use it for the greater good of the world. Whilst life is about finding happiness, success, and fulfillment, for ourselves, we all also have an obligation to be helping our fellow man and woman. There's nothing that prevents us from striving for our goals, whilst helping and supporting others in the process. Together, being goals driven and serving others, combine for a magical combination. Those who live their lives helping others, displaying generosity and kindness, and bringing joy and support to others, are usually the most happy and satisfied people on the planet. Helping others actually helps ourselves, because the satisfaction we gain from doing so, enhances our lives. We should be living to serve others, always seeking ways to enhance their lives, encouraging them to achieve their goals, and supporting them to create success and happiness. Serving others isn't about doing what others tell you to do, living your life to be pleasing them. Serving others is about allocating your time and money to help improve the lives of others, not to be a slave to them. It's about bringing joy and happiness to their lives, whilst being there to support them, encourage them, and uplift them, to be creating a better future for themselves. Here are 10 quotes to remind us of exactly how important serving others is in life, and how we can help build a better future for, not only them, but ourselves also.

10 Quotes About Overcoming Our Fears In Order To Achieve Success
It's no secret, that two of the biggest reasons why were are denied success in life are because of either doubt or fear. When we look at those two reasons though, we should be able to clearly see that both of these are our own responsibility. Neither are because of other people, or circumstances, or situations, or any other thing we try and palm off the responsibility and blame on, it's all ourselves. With our goals, success, happiness, and future, on the line, so many of us decline to proceed with opportunities and turn away from taking risks, all because of fear. We are fearful of failing, we are fearful of other people judging us for our decisions and actions, we are fearful of not being capable of achieving what we desire, we are fearful we don't have the required knowledge and experience to succeed, we are fearful of stepping out of our comfort zone, we are fearful of making mistakes, we are fearful of embarrassing ourselves, we are fearful of change, and one of the greatest fears within people is the fear of losing financially. The issue is that success, happiness, prosperity, and goal achievement, can only be achieved if we are willing to take risks, and overcome our fears. Nothing can be achieved if we remain stuck in our comfort zone, sitting there in hope that success will eventuate by itself. We too often base our decisions on emotion, rather than logic, and as a result, we quite often turn our backs on the very opportunity that was there for the taking, that would have led us to success. No opportunities or actions of risk come without the need to follow through with hard work, patience, and action, we still need to apply ourselves. The truth be told, that many risks we do take will end up being unsuccessful, but that's where it becomes about making changes, continually trialing different actions, persevering, and even taking more risks, until we achieve the desired result. It's never failure unless we accept it as that. Every unsuccessful action is nothing more than a learning opportunity, so there sure is nothing to be afraid of. Here are 10 quotes to help us draw on our courage, focus our mindset on what we want to achieve, and overcome our fears, so we can go on to achieve success.

"Dream as though you've never failed."
When I was in Grade 9, I took Leadership class. Our middle school only offered it for Grade 9s, as we were the oldest students in the school. We got to help with school assemblies, and other events (like Grade 6 Orientation Day, which was so fun!).
