Life's Test
Susan Colder has risen from a sales representative at the Beautiful Your beauty care empire to the Manager. Her journey of ten years has weathered many storms, hurricanes, and a few tornadoes. It was her love for beauty culture that gave her the strength to keep going. She has been robbed and cheated by family and friends who purchased her beauty products and promised to pay. Some would hide, others sold her hard-luck stories and some just refused to pay. Many times, she would go hungry as her salary had to go towards paying for delinquent customers. Still, she has won many sales representative of the month awards.

Having a Morning and Bedtime Routine Changed My Life
I am by no stretch of the imagination a morning person; waking up and getting going was always the hardest part of my day. I would wake up groggy and felt like I was on autopilot for the first few hours of the day. Going to bed was no better as I would go from staring at my computer or phone screen all evening straight to bed without letting my brain rest. I found myself tossing and turning for a while before I was finally able to go to sleep. It was a vicious cycle that I felt trapped in until I heard of multiple fitness gurus share this secret: Having a morning and bedtime routine will vastly improve your quality of life.

Feeling Lost
Ever feel lost in the world? Feel left out in all that you are invited to do? She felt that way, alone even when the company was around. We can get lost in our thoughts every now and again but are we able to pull our self out? She managed to slowly be able to pull herself out of the hole she fell in. The year didn’t go as planned but does it ever? She gave birth to a beautiful baby boy and her oldest became a big brother. With all that’s going on, shouldn’t she be happy? This wasn’t how she planned it, this wasn’t supposed to happen to her. Then she woke up from the dream, she had been living in the fantasy in the back of her head.

Why Should You Write?
In 2010, I returned from a family vacation with my wife and my 3-year-old son for about five days. I unnaturally felt like writing about that trip. I had never written in the past until that point. I believe some of my experiences that I had on that trip made me write about it.

Why Can’t I Take a Compliment?
Is it just me that has the cringe to end all cringes whenever someone pays me an unexpected compliment ? Don’t get me wrong, I like to think my self esteem is at a healthy level , well as healthy as a 24 year old woman in the introductory quarter of her life trying to figure out who she wants to be in this world’s can be. By that I mean that I wouldn’t say I’m particularly shy or uncomfortable with myself which made it all the more confusing when I really started thinking about the fact that I really struggle any time someone I don’t know well , particularly those of the opposite sex, pays me a compliment.

Free $40,000 Audi
Last year, I purchased a 2016 car which is new compared to the 2004 I was driving previously. I saved and saved my money, I even used a huge chunk of my tax return to put towards paying the car cash – I was completely against the idea of making payments for the next 5 years. I was blessed enough, even during a pandemic to be able to pay cash for my car – such a huge accomplishment, however there were minor cosmetic issues that the dealership agreed to fix for me.

ARE YOU ADDICTED TO YOUR PHONE?
Are you addicted to your phone? 2/3 of phone users have “Nomophobia” –the fear of being without their phone or phone service. In some ways, excessive phone use is like other forms of addiction in which you experience pleasure (dopamine brain chemicals), but then suffer from withdrawals (anxiety, sadness) when you’re not able to use your phone. If you find yourself wasting too much time on your phone, and your work or relationships are suffering, then it may be time for you to try the Phone Addiction Cure. Apply these techniques so you can use your phone for useful and beneficial purposes, instead of using it too much for the wrong reasons: negative news, distractions, compulsive activities, or excessive social media comparisons.

The Biggest Regret
I talk a lot in my blog entries about regret, and how the fact that many of us are currently dealing with it right now, or how many of us will encounter it in our later life. Let's face it, we are all going to make decisions, and do things, that we look back on in and hindsight, and wish we hadn't have made them, or done them. That's life, we are all human. We are going to make mistakes, we are going to encounter failures, we are going to share relationships with the wrong people, and we are going to say things that were better left unsaid. Unfortunate as it may be, what is done is done, and we can't go back and change the past. What we do have control over, is our future. No matter what errors we have made in the past, be it wrong decisions, or even non-decisions, it doesn't mean we cannot learn from our mistakes, nor does it mean we can't create a rewarding and fulfilling future for ourselves. It's never too late to create a future that we desire, but having said that, each day we hold back from doing so, becomes another day wasted, and each day wasted is a day lost on what is already borrowed time. There are certain decisions we can make, and actions we can take, right now, that can at least eliminate the biggest regret that humankind has, in reaching their latter years. That biggest regret that people end up having on their death bed, is having failed to live their life that was true to themselves, rather than having lived a life that others expected of them.
