Follow Your Highest Excitement
I am no longer searching for hobbies and activities to fulfill me, because I have come to realize that life itself is all the fulfillment I need. As I write these words, however, I’m reflecting back on those frequent moments when life has exhausted me; I collapse to my knees and scream at the Universe, “What’s the fucking point?!” And in all honesty, the last time I broke down like that was only 16 hours ago. I fall into these states –into an abyss that consumes me– and the thought of having to breathe and eat to stay alive seems overwhelming, exhausting and truly pointless. What’s the point of keeping this physical, fleshy body alive while I feel my heart aching for something I can’t see yet?

Fail Greatly
If I am not making at least three mistakes a day, I am not trying. My most significant opportunities are waiting for me to have the courage and willingness to attempt them. The least I can do is step up to the plate and swing the bat. Sometimes I will foul off a curveball and learn to be more patient. On occasion, I will whiff on some high heat and gain some perspective regarding the challenge and some skills I need to develop. In a few instances, I will get hit or brushed back and end up on my butt looking foolish, but if I get back up and step back into the box, I get another appearance at the plate. On the other hand, if I put my head down and slink off to the dugout after striking out, I have missed the chance to improve, innovate and endure.

5 Things to Do When You Lose a Vocal Challenge
Not to brag, but I am a fairly experienced loser. I have entered and lost three Vocal contests, with a fourth one on the way. Statistically, I am far from alone in this. The first contest I entered had nearly ten thousand submissions.

Living Authentically
It seems to me that our heart has the map for what we can bring to life that will fulfill us with all its lessons and experiences. I call this our purpose. To realize our purpose, we must live authentically. We can nurture authenticity by connecting with our heart and taking action to bring our dreams to life. Being grateful for the present moment, focused and clear-headed without compromising on what feels right. Not being overly swayed by outside opinions and trusting ourselves. At the root, I am truly inspired by the possibility of joy and fulfillment through unlocking our full potential as beings of love, living in clarity and liberation, aware of our divine connection and infinite possibility, thriving in our golden energy, fully flowing and free.

What Nearly Dying Taught Me About Living
There’s this social construct within most of society that one needs to achieve the unachievable to be considered successful in life. People often wake up every day with the notion that they need to work their asses off to be noticed and seen. This notion often distracts many from what’s around them; both good and bad.

Cutting Out a Fashion Future, From Phoenix, NYC to Paris
In a our busy and sometimes overwhelming world, it’s getting more difficult for some of us to add some time in for something that brings us joy or at the least calms us. As a fashion designer who came from Phoenix living in NYC, I know how important it is to be motivated and stay inspired, especially when big dreams seem out of reach. On good days when I feel refreshed, I wake up ready to chip away at my goals. On the days I feel overworked, my creativity is blocked and have a hard time envisioning my fashion future. That’s how I know that it’s time to stop whatever I’m doing and grab any physical items I can possibly cut out to create a mood board.

How can you use your time to create the life you want
How you utilize your time is only one of the factors to progress. I'm not discussing the progression of time since time simply is. It's how you manage the time that you have that is important. One of the little-known techniques is realizing how long to spend on the perfect things at the perfect time organized appropriately to get the outcomes you need in your life.
