Living Authentically

It seems to me that our heart has the map for what we can bring to life that will fulfill us with all its lessons and experiences. I call this our purpose. To realize our purpose, we must live authentically. We can nurture authenticity by connecting with our heart and taking action to bring our dreams to life. Being grateful for the present moment, focused and clear-headed without compromising on what feels right. Not being overly swayed by outside opinions and trusting ourselves. At the root, I am truly inspired by the possibility of joy and fulfillment through unlocking our full potential as beings of love, living in clarity and liberation, aware of our divine connection and infinite possibility, thriving in our golden energy, fully flowing and free.

Everything we consume has an influence on us, since we are fundamentally connected. Today, there is a constant stream of information being presented to us, especially through social media, television, and the internet in general. Therefore, it is our responsibility to manage the amount of information we are receiving, to not overwhelm our body. We need time to process information and be in a state of peace. In other words, we need to establish a rest and recovery period for our brain, to ensure we are thinking and functioning clearly without being in a state of information overload. More importantly, it is up to us in any given moment to decide which information is helpful to us and which is not. In this way we can consciously focus our attention and energy on that which allows us to grow and blossom. I think that is the biggest key to living authentically, and one that is lacking for many people – making conscious, natural decisions by allowing our heart to speak, and valuing what feels right to us. To do this, we need to consciously choose what we should expose ourselves to, and what we should not expose ourselves to, to design our lives in a way that we feel is best for our evolution and the fulfillment of our purpose. This way, we can nurture ourselves to discover and act on fulfilling our divine purpose, by radiating our authentic energy. In moments of authenticity, we realize we have the power to consciously choose what feels right to us, regardless of what our environment acts like. By placing ourselves in the best conditions and helping ourselves, we build up the energy and light within us, that we will then radiate authentically upon others. Since that is a state of being in high energy and clarity, it seems to me the natural choice to make, ultimately to the benefit of all. By being in our most healed, vibrant state, we inspire others and allow them to grow through our love. The overall goal is that of service in elevating our collective consciousness.

Ultimately, we come to accept that everyone is on their own journey of coming to equilibrium with nature, and when we accept that, we realize that we are simply responsible for our own choices. In my experience, this understanding allowed me to treat others with more empathy, and thrive in any environment, by accepting how life is now, trusting the grand play of life without judging it and without unconsciously letting anyone’s perspective skew mine. It is as simple as realizing that we are fully capable of making our own choices and trusting our inner wisdom. This is our divine ability. With a foundation of authenticity and connection to our heart, we can discover powerful guides toward the fulfillment of our potential, when we learn to recognize them, and connect with them in the world and in our everyday experiences.
