“Kind” is literally in our species name. So, being kind should be second nature, right? Right! BUT, unfortunately, that isn’t always the case and showing kindness doesn’t always come that easy.

Showing kindness to strangers or during the heat of a moment is a challenge for all and when we blow an opportunity to be kind, we are not very proud of ourselves.

On the flip side, when we are kind to others, especially when we are kind to strangers it warms our hearts – and that act warms their hearts too!

Bonus, you have just created an emotional “pay-it-forward” moment and it probably cost you nothing!

What is a Passion Project?

A passion project can have any intent, yes? Isn’t this your project? Well, the quick research completed for this article actually leads one to think that passion projects are only “side gigs”.

A passion project is an activity or enterprise that you decide to take on—usually in your spare time–in order to gain some benefit for yourself. That is, it’s a challenge that you willingly embrace because you hope to gain something from it.

Kindness and Love

My newly found love? Our rescue fur-baby, and this blog. The articles and social media content have become my passion project.

Truth? I LOVE spreading inspiration, kindness, and joy!

I suppose my available topics have been a bit of a lay-up these past few weeks as we prepare for Christmas; celebrating these positive emotions – Hope, Joy, and Peace.

I promise to take my own advice and continue to spread Christmas Love throughout the entire year!

Compassion

Take Sundays are Simple. It started out as a very basic idea, a simple little reminder for you to take one day out of each week just for you. And the movement is definitely STILL exactly that, however, it has since morphed into something a little bigger and has become another avenue of inspiration.

And each day, if we all spread a little kindness, love, and compassion it makes life a little easier, doesn’t it?

We are a passionate collective of four creatives, on a journey to share positive stories. We make films that excite us – we call these our passion projects.

Everywhere we look, we see a world filled with inspiration.

Sometimes it’s capturing a conversation with someone who appreciates the true beauty in the world. Other times it’s meeting interesting people who are inspired by nature.

Ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

Justine reached out to me earlier this year to introduce herself and Green Renaissance. She pointed out what a great pairing we would make and asked that I share their work.

Well, after seeing a mere two minutes of the first movie, it was an easy yes! And after checking it out I think you just might agree with me!

I so want to be this lovely lady “when I grow up”. Her car, her style, and most importantly – her inspirational fun-loving attitude!
