If you are a person of vision, you must be thinking of "How can I make my day 100% productive?"

You must have alraedy done some research and must have tried many ways to become 100% productive but did you succeed?

Well since you are reading this article, I am going to guess that it did not work for you because most of the time online articles are just things worked for only specific people.

So let's discuss the most wanted topic and find the best solution to your problem.

How to make your day 100% productive?

1. Vision- a target

To make your day most productive, you must have something to work on, a vision!!! This vision will tell you what all you must do going forward.

Then a realization of what must be done within a specific time will immerge.

This realization will tell you:

  • What exactly is your goal
  • What is your bigger vision
  • What are the smaller levels or task you must accomplish to reach to a bigger vision
  • How much time approximately it may take to accomplish a specific task

All of the above questions would have been answered by yourself before you start even planning of doing something.

Note: If you are a person who has not yet found your vision, try to work on things you like, try to explore them every day, and you will eventually reach to your vision.

Remember, One part of our life is to find vision and another is to fulfill that vision!!!

Now you have total clarity of what must be done and how it must be done, now let's start the next step.

2. Write a to-do list

Now is the time you start writing down all of the tasks your mind can come across.

The most important thing here is to remember that you must write down everything about the task and if possible try to create a subtask.

Subtask is the best way to clearly describe the requirements of that specific task and try not to include not that one action in one subtask.

Try to break and create as many task as possible, here you are just writing your goals, not allotting time or prioritizing any task or subtask.

Writing down to-do list can take one or more days as per the scope and lengthiness. So take your time to write down all the tasks, think again and again if you need to include or break some tasks into two.

Crosscheck for the missing task, it's very important because you don't want to come in between and thinking of "oh, I did miss this thing and let me add it in between". This behavior can mess up with whole planning and sometimes tend to discourage you.

3. Add expected efforts

Now is the time to allot specific time to each task. This time will indicate how much hours you can take to complete this task.

Remember this allotted time is just an approximate estimation. there is a possibility that you can get stuck in some complex task which you haven't realize or know of while allotting time.

This concept is important because if the time allotting goes wrong it will not just extend the time for the current in-hand task but also will destroy your whole day planning and may severely impact your next day planning respectively.

So try to consider the complexity of the work while time allotment. you can solve this time issue by actually considering all factors you may come across. Never try to blindly set the time, it always ends up taking a whole lot more time than you can imagine, so be realistic.

4. Prioritizing

Prioritizing is the simplest task you can get in this process. All you have to think about is the dependencies of tasks on one another.

Before prioritizing any task think of which task I may need before I can start a specific task and you can then able to easily sort all tasks with realistic and exact priority types.

5. Create daily calendar plans

Now you can start creating your daily calendar plans for every day including holidays as well.

Obviously, you will try to put the maximum tasks in a day without planning for any breaks or resting time. That's where you are going wrong.

When you tell your brain to work 24*7, you end up wasting your whole day into one thinking only " I have so much to do!!!" and never even start one basic task.

Therefore, it is important to carefully plan your day including the short and long breaks you must take.

6. Track down

If you are really serious about improving your performance day by day then you must consider this last step of tracking down your own work.

This way you can see where you went wrong in the past and you will be able to avoid those mistakes carefully in the future.

Here, in this step, it is very important to be very ownest with your work and for that, you must have what it takes feeling!!!

Let me know if you are using this method of productivity improvement and let me know how much did it worked for you!!!
