On the Corner of Selfish and Selfless
I saw her on a Wednesday morning on my way to pick up some medicine for my cat. She was standing at the corner of Central and Hillside outside of the Spangles restaurant as I patiently waited for the traffic light to give me permission to move on.

Fear and the Media....
Up late and couldn’t sleep so I decide to write. Note to self don’t drink a latte in the middle of the day. Good thing I don’t have to work for the next two weeks due to a virus called the Corona Virus. This is not about that but about Media and Fear. Fear is false evidence appearing real. Do you feel the Media plays on peoples’ fears? I do and I will tell you why.

Stop Listening to People...Take a Grain of Salt
As a person, I'm very passionate and I care for people's opinions. I care so deeply that there was a time when I became someone who wasn't myself in order to please everyone else. I spent so much time listening to people that I forgot what I liked as a person and became a shell of who I am. This reality plunged me into a darkness I could not get out of.

What the Heck is the Law of Attraction?
You may have heard about the Law of Attraction, but you may not know exactly what it is. In essence, it is a philosophy that suggests that you can bring positive or negative experiences into your life simply by focusing on positive or negative thoughts. Basically, it is a universal law that says you will attract such experiences based on your overall mindset, whether it is positive or negative. The Law of Attraction is part of the New Thought Movement, and it can be practiced greatly by focusing on your own thoughts and attitudes.

One Piece of Peace
I believe in all abiding spirituality and common sense to be the backbone of all that I know. We live in a world of balanced positives and negatives, where we also step on the respective scales to bend the knee or overpower for our own will. Though this has become known as life’s’ sentiment and reality, I believe that we (as a race of conscious and coherent human beings) must gather the pieces of peace by adhering to POSITIVES AND CONSTRUCTIVE POSITIVES. When you allow any negativity to plant it’s toxic seed in the mind, we begin to let its agenda grow and consume us slowly. This could be a deterrent from childhood dreams, passions, desires and activity alike. Negative will always result in the same thing... pressure on you and the weight causing you to wait endlessly for nothing to happen but all those who press to press on and thrive with you under wraps.

We shouldn't reserve the word inspirational for exceptional stories and people.
Inspiration: The process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative. I see the world as one big learning experience, I look at it with eyes wide open, always absorbing, learning, and asking questions. I am also always looking for ways to improve myself the next challenge, next class, next activity, next adventure and because of that I have met a lot of people, heard a lot of stories, seen many places and have a desire to see and learn more.

Against Myself
I could say things that sound really nice… About who I looked up to and why they inspired me… But most times I would find myself comparing who I am and how I saw others. I thought that I was missing something - that extra flare or skill, I felt that I couldn’t live up to the expectations of others around me… And so I didn’t really have women that I looked to that would inspire me to push beyond myself.

Why Millennials Shouldn't Feel Bad for Not Wanting Kids...Yet.
Let's face it, we - as Millennials - have had our fair share of wake-up calls as we've lived our adult lives. From a high cost of living, to student loan repayments, to realizing that you actually may not be able to afford the lifestyle you thought, to battling imposter syndrome and thoughts of failure. To be honest, finding your way through adulthood is a lot harder than any one of us probably could have ever imagined. I always thought I'd have a family unit in a two-story house and living the dream by now. That has not happened for me just yet. Instead, I've hit a few walls in my career path and have been forced to reroute my entire lifestyle. Well, I've recently become okay with letting go of my dream to one day have 5 children, and here are a few of the reasons why.
